Read this paragraph if you don't know what is PTR / PTC. Others, skip this paragraph.
There are many advertisers who pay for advertising online. Those advertising companies need members to read those ads and they offer certain percentage to their members. If you become a member you get paid to read those advertisements. Paid to read (PTR) means you have to read the ads received through email. Paid to click (PTC) means you have to read the ads by visiting the website.
Though I said "make money without referrals", it doesn't mean we need no referring. If you refer people, it gives you certain benefits. It comes later. Now, let's talk about earning without referrals.
How we are going to make $30 to $50 at least, per month, without referrals?

Of the huge list of PTR sites, you'll find some sites offering an excellent feature "Paid to promote" for free members. That is, you get paid to promote your own link. If someone joins through this link, you get a referral. That's the hidden benefit of Paid to Read sites, which PTCs don't have.
Well. Coming back to the point, this "Paid to Promote" (PTP) feature ranges between 0.50 to 0.85 per 1000 views. (That is, if your link is shown to 1000 people, you earn 50 to 85 cents. Let's take average of 70 cents). Sounds hard? Well, read on. Just few of the above sites could make you $1 or more a day, if you work just 2 hours a day.
How to do it? Here I give it step by step
- Select the sites which offer PTP.
- Join the following Traffic Exchange sites (Traffic exchange means, if you view one site, your site will be shown to another user.) They are free to join. No fees required. (If you are not from US, don't pay for upgrade)

Remember, not all Traffic Exchanges accept PTPs. So be sure you don't lose your account in the above sites. - Activate your account. (You will receive an email from the site, which will contain a link. You have to click on the link to activate your account. It may take upto 24 hours to receive the activation link)
- Now, the tricky part comes. Open all the above sites one by one. (Use a latest browser which has Tabs instead of windows. This will make your surfing easier.) Switch between tabs to surf all the sites.
For better surfing I suggest you get Firefox. It effectively blocks popups.
And use a latest virus scanner. AVG is a good one and it's free. Get it here free. - Some sample surf pages are given below. Click on them to view full size.
- If you work for about two hours, you can surf about 200 pages. It will convert into around 100 credits. (You have opened 8 tabs, so you'll have 100 credits at 8 sites.) (In between surfs, you'll be asked some questions or you'll be given some bonus credits. Watch for them.)
- Now, go to your member's area in the PTR sites and look for "Paid to Promote" or "PTP", to find your PTP link.
- Copy your PTP link and now go to your Traffic Exchange site. Look for "Add website" or "Sites" or "My sites" or "My Webpage" or similar links. (See sample below)
- Paste your PTP link. If required, add credits to your link. (Only if you assign credits to your site, your link will be shown to the other members of the Traffic Exchange site) (See sample below)
Now the calculation.
In total you'll have 800 credits per day. (Actually ShareAdSpace allows two surf windows at a time. I didn't include it here)
Convert your credits with the average 70 cents = 70 x 800/1000 = 56 cents (Remember, did you ever make 50 cents in any day with PTCs)
Converting into monthly earnings = 56 x 30 = $16.80 per month
Apart from this, some traffic exchange sites themselves are giving you 25 - 40 cents per 1000 pages surf.
Let this be averaged to 20 cents. If you surf 200 pages daily at 8 sites for 30 days......?
Here is the calculation :
200 pages x 8 sites x 30 days x 20 cents/1000 = $9.60.
Approximately, it will be around $10 a month.
You'll receive paid emails from the PTR sites which range between 1/4 cent and 1 cent per email. (You should click these emails, otherwise you cannot use the PTP) Let's take the minimum 1/4 cent. If you click 30 ads a day, your average daily income is around 8 cents. (The fact is, you will receive 100s of emails)
Converting into monthly = 8 cents x 30 days = $2.40
In total you've earned $16.80 + $10 + $2.40 = $29.20
(All without referrals, for 2 hours of daily work)
In all the above examples, you might have noticed that only minimum amount has been taken for calculation. Anything in excess, is profit for you. (If we calculate the exact values everywhere, the income would be around $45 to $50 per month, without referrals)
It's not over yet.
Apart from traffic exchanges, most of the PTRs have the 'Manual surf' option. You can use this feature, to surf as many sites you can and promote your PTP links. (Anything you make through this option, is additional. Here too, you get some cash bonuses between surfs)
Some sites offer cheap advertising. If you buy those ads, you can profit by a margin. I leave it to you.
DOs
1) Do check the TERMS (TOS) and FAQ (Help) of every site to know the minimum number of clicks required to use PTP
2) Do click as many emails as you can. (Don't miss the point mails too. These points can be used for advertising your PTP links which will make your income increase)
3) Do use an email software like Outlook Express or Eudora or similar. They reduce your time by 50%
DONTs
1) Don't forget to update your profile.
2) Don't use Yahoo email for signing up. Yahoo blocks most of your paid mails.
3) Don't use your regular email for this. You'll mess up. Use a separate id.
3) Don't select 'Search' or 'Search mails' in your profile in any PTR, if your Country is not supported for making searches. Refer their Terms of Service and FAQ before you select 'Search' in your profile. Otherwise you may lose your account.
RECOMMENDED
Use an unlimited internet connection with fairly good speed. Using a limited connectivity will be uncomfortable.
Now, it's about benefits of referring people
If you introduce anybody to this opportunity, you get referral click commission. So, just 2 people could earn you more money. (See below how much I made). I have done a lot homework before writing this page. I searched the web for free classified sites, posted ads and finally arrived a list of best free classified sites. That's why I have explained the money making techniques above. There are no secrets hidden anywhere. In fact, I have broken the secret behind this opportunity, which you may not find while signing up with the site itself.

With the handy datasheet I am giving you, I am pretty sure, you will get enough referrals. Even if it works slow, you earn more than your investment within one month. I can say, you can't find any other opportunity which works on its own like this. Among all the data entry scams, this one seems better for me.
